It has been a while since I have shown some of my work I did with a bit of repurposing. I love to find new ways to use a piece of fabric or clothing instead of just junking it or turning into rags.
I made a few dresses for Amelie, and she loves them. I even made myself a little something (Yay)
6 month dress made from a toddler Hawaiian print shirt.
Women's shirt and scrap fabric to make a cool summer dress (4T)
Kind of punk rock, inky look shirt with bandanna for skirt. (4T)
Another junior shirt made into a fun rock and roll dress
Elastic cased in fabric for waistband (4T)
I love how fun and easy repurposing a tshirt can be. My daughters get an abundance of clothes and I spend less money for a unique look. Now if only I could find more purposes for my boys torn up clothes so they can be stylish and unique as well.
Sorry for the crappy picture. This is the only full length.
I made myself a loose, flowy, vest from a men's Volcom shirt.
I love how it came out and that it involved no sewing.
